I'm not going to bash this kit, it sounds awsome. But one question. How much smaller is the fuel tank?

fred, sorry, i don't give out key pieces of information on my kits, the only thing to know is that it comes with a money back guarantee on the hp claim. i spent alot of time making the kit do what it does and i'm just trying to protect my products, i hope you understand. i may lose afew sales here and there, but i think most people who would ask such a question when there a MONEY BACK guarantee, probaly have other motives. jeff

i dont have a turbo but if i did i would buy the one with the guarantee, it seems to be a no brainer to me. mulot30 i dont know you and you obviously know more than i will ever know about turbos. but he said money back if it doenst do what he claims. in the free market world, he wont be in business long making claims like that only to have them returned, so in that sense it leads me to believe that he would have to put out a conservative hp claim knowing that not all sleds are the same. stop argueing about it or buy one and prove him wrong. now add knapp backing this up and being impressed and his repuatation in the business. these are two of the big names in the business. i dont see any other after market companys putting their reputation on the line with all their go fast probucts. even small purchase clutch kits with their claims dont have a quarantee. just my 02 i dont know any of these guys or have bought any of their products. i know my dealer Woody's performance using some of thier products and he seems to do alright in the racing world as well.

..there is quite an audience watching and has been waiting for the CPR kits for the EFI sleds...

finally have my answer, they are using a GT2854R turbo from Garrett.

This is the exact turbo efficiency chart for this model.



Now, if you want to continu with CPR Simmon just because is a sponsor of this forum, it's your choice. But this is now an evidence that this set-up will NEVER make 265 hp at 11 psi.

I contact Garrett directly today, and they now exactly what set-up I was talking about, and even Garrett said that this will NEVER make 265 hp!

So I ask the administrator of this forum, mulot30th had very good reason to question the 265 hp that CPR claim, why do you delete all his post.

If this is a serious forum, and you want your members to have access to real info, than you will have to choose between CPR, who post BS all over your forum, or the the thruth!

CPR has explained it to the detail they are comfortable with without letting everyone know who they achieved there HP. I cant make them produce more info. I guess either you can believe it or not.

87, this isnt some sort of conspiracy to protect CPR. Jeff at CPR has released as much information as he is comfortable with regarding the make up of his kit. Other factors in determining HP can occur after the turbo outlet, such as intercooler design, charge/intake temp...etc. The bottom line here is this is CPRs Claim and guarantee. Im just telling you that you guys are not going to get the answers you are looking for, because CPR chooses to protect his design. Im with you on always wanting more info, especially on things like this, but we cant force anyone to do it, and its pretty apparant Jeff is confident it will produce the power he claims because of how he is standing behind it. Blown it out of proportion? Man, sometimes you just cant win. You tell me what I can do to force this info out of Jeff. You certainly dont have to sit silently, thats why the thread isnt locked.

This is a loosing battle because there are lines drawn in the sand for you, muloth, and ff vs. the CPR stance on sharing his design. Again, if you tell me how we should be handleing this as a moderation team.

I am sorry your not getting the info you want. I think you are right, and agree that it would be nice to have more info, but it looks pretty aparant that thats not going to happen. So at this point, we, you, and everyone else can do one of 2 things.

1. Choose not to believe it, and go on our merry little way

2. Believe it and trust the money back guarantee.
