My buddy lives in SE Michigan and has a Bender Stage 2 Turbo RX-1 that has had extensive work done to it. Special oil and fuel lines, different intake, special blow off valves and has had some experts service this in the past. Currently these folks are either no longer at the shops or are not interested in working on sleds any longer. The sled was running great when put away but has been stored for the past 2 seasons. Is there anyone that could recommend an experienced and detail oriented shop and/or person that could wrench on this sled to insure it's running like it should? Thanks David

David,
Howard Haack at H&H Performance is great, no disrespect but Justin at Full Power Performance probably the most knowledgable person in the world on those Bender Turbo Systems, as he was involved with the design of them...
Since Bender Racing is no longer dealing with nor supporting these, Justin offers tech support along with his own upgrades and an inventory of original replacements parts in house.
The FPP shop is in Western NY, not exactly in SE Michigan but within a reasonable several hour driving distance east to get that kind of expertise. Problem is getting an appointment with him anytime soon with his filled schedule at this time of the season...

I doubt your buddies Stage-2 has extensive work done to it as much as this Stage4 RX1 currently at the FPP shop.

Definitely not as much work as that one. Thanks mbarryracing for your input and I'll let my buddy know.

David,
If he's just looking for a good go-thru and check-up, and it doesn't need any kit updates, Howard is perfectly capable and is a good choice if he has openings. Like I said, Justin is pretty booked now until at least January.
In addition I am pretty sure H&H Performance also has a good relationship with FPP, as well, so likely getting any unique parts for that Bender stage2 from Justin isn't an issue either.
Ultimately it all depends on what he's looking for and what it needs done to it, and when.
