need all links to replacement apex headers

the stock ti headers are cracking. from what I read this is nothing new when boosted. I am looking for the best replacement I can get. Aftermarket or RX1. I was thinking RX headers but then read that they need lengthened to make them work. is this true? is there an aftermarket header that bolts rite in and doesn't break? thanks for any help.

I'm in the middle of doing that now. Waiting for the parts. I have only 3500 mi.s on it and don't ride hard..They crack around the clamp area. Anyway Yami has SS ones now for $92US. There is a 30 month warantee on them Emissions Coverage. See Manual. This falls under it and your dealer should do the work as well free. Mine offered but I already torn it down. I didn't realize it was still covered. I got the pipes for free anyway.

To get the Ypipes out loosen rear bolted clamps at muffler pipe. I ordered new gaskets here as well. Cheap enough. Oh you have to drop the skid to get at the ypipes easily. Or at least drop part way.

i put on the bender racing headers they are also stainless with more of a free flowing bend, i heard the yamaha stainless is not true stainless-cheaper yes,but the benders give you more hp!
