The stock bars on the rx are too short for my liking and are straight.
What's the best option to go with that bolts in and uses the stock heated grips .

The stock bars aren't straight on the rx1, maybe there are aftermarket bars on it. If you need a set of stock bars I have a set I am not using, pay the shipping and they are yours. As far as the "to short part", you can install a 2" riser with out having to change the throttle and brake cable.
Here is what the stock bars should look like

sorry what i was referring to was the bars don't tip down like apex bars….I have stock rx bars on the sled but i like the tip down
and also wider would be nice but not higher…..maybe apex bars will fit ?
PS) I have a package coming your way and a cut out of the zx2 brackets. Won't arrive until after Christmas though.
have a great holiday!

X2 on the Apex bars, make sure you get the newer Apex bars, the 2006 ones had little or no heat in the warmers.
There is also a Yamaha rewire-kit that will bump up hand warmer heat if needed.
