Hi everybody, here is my problem :
My sled start fine, I let the engine warm up and then start riding. The sled runs perfectly from there. But I soon as I let the engine RPM go below 5000 I loose all the power, the engine doesn’t respond to the throttle anymore, it backfires once and I must stop to let the engine go back to idling before riding again.
The engine doesn’t stop. Sometimes I can avoid this by very slowly letting the engine RPM go down while riding which is not always possible to do. This happens in any weather and/or trails conditions.
Any help would be VERY appreciated!
My sled has the ECP kit with EVAC
Thanks! Errol

Sounds similar to what I had this weekend. I ended up pulling the carb assembly off and cleaning thoroughly. It removed the symptoms. Also, if this was new gas and you have to do this after your new gas, it says something about what's in the tank right now. Drain it if this is the case and start over.
Lot's of P.I.T.A. work, especially the philips screws for the float bowls, but like I said, it's rippin' now.

I will re-check the throttle cable for sure. But if it doesn't work how do you clean up the carbs :? Thanks again for any input!
