9 Celsius here today, so I did a bit on the sled. have the transfer rod at about 1 1/8" (1 notch and a bit on the wrench from min) and also raised the limiter strap one hole. I'm soaked from rolling off my mat into a puddle, but it went well other than that. Skis are off and the snowtrackers will be on tomorrow. I want to order some stuff from Royal Distributors Canada and would appreciate some assistance from others that have an Apex. I want some nice looking and functional mirrors as well as a tank/handlebar bag and maybe some saddle bags. Any pictures or recommendations? I also saw a post on here where you can order adapters for the thumb throttle. Seems to be at an odd angle for me while riding and my hand goes numb.

If you are seeking a more ergonomic throttle, look no further than the NCI thumbdrive.

Buy the PowerMadd handguards with the mirrors in them. They're small, but work.
Get a Handlebar bag from Yamaha not Royal.
Also, get a nose bag while you're at the dealer. Yammy ones are nicer.

Go to Sled Smart and get yourself some HID's and install them, they're trick!

I have this tank bag from Yamaha, and it fits and works better than a universal bag from royal.Yamaha Motor.ca
I too have a 2011 Apex SE, I don't have mirrors, so no help there. But the bag is sweet and glad I spent the money on it.

This is what I chose for mirrors. They are extremely well made, functional and fold out the way if needed. The glass in them has excellent clarity and you can buy whatever parts you need from the manufacturer to service them if the need ever arises.

These are the mirrors as well as others on the website of the company that manufactures them.

Loving the Yamaha windsheild bag..been on 3 of my apexes over 40,000kms and it is still perfect. Designed my own mirrors, made a custom bracket with spot mirrors. The Yamaha billet parts are sweet such as gas cap, reverse lever, brake cylinder cover. Any headlight upgrade is better than stock( such as silverstars or brite lights, hid's). I also use skinz handgards when cold very good removable, and the "gearz" soft saddle bags.
