- Bought a new 05 Vector which I still have
24K miles
Hey!
A friend is installing a (what he was told is a) 136" M10 into a 2005 Rage. He bought a new Ice Ripper (a 1.22 Ice "something") and he's having a great deal of trouble installing it. He literally had to crowbar it on with the arms compressed. The front arm is all the way up against the drive shaft and there's no room to move it at all.
I told him:
1. Not the right track
or
2. It's not a 136" M10 like the guy he bought it from says it is.
Thoughts?
What can he measure on the M10 to make sure it's a 136, and not a 137 or 144?
I'm going to tell him I started this thread.
Thanks... You guys and gals have been awesome for 18 years!!

Sounds like the track is too tight. I had this happen on a 136 conversion years ago. Had to change out the transfer blocks ( There is white set and a black set) and slam the wheel all the way forward.

Thanks for the reply Sir! He got it in and the wheels are all the way forward. He has 1.5" of sag. I told him the track will stretch but holy crap, the track is small/short!!!! He has white blocks. Should he change them to black or ???Sounds like the track is too tight. I had this happen on a 136 conversion years ago.
