Just got into a 13 Apex XTX, wonderful sled!! I would like to improve it a tad to make it a little better. The only thing I have done are C&A Skis and Dupont slides. My thoughts were......
13mm sway bar
nice adjustable shocks??? like floats or axis or exit.....
1.5 camoplast track
Maybe a clutch kit or something? Dont want to loose any top end though
Maybe a few Idlers...
What are you guys/gals thoughts??
Any must haves??
Thanks,
Ray

Gas and go. Maybe open up the airbox, other than that ride it......I added tuner ski's to my Apex, nice upgrade
So you dont think aftermarket shocks will make a significant difference??

I added tuner skis, and Ulmer air box mod and PCV with Ulmer's map. VERY happy with the results.

ulmer has good stuff and backs up his products.
all i have done to mine so far is to put on my curves, rear springs to soft, 1 turn out on front shock in track and played with the clicker settings on the rear shock.

NOW WHY WUD HE DO THAT?????
He just bought Brand New C&A's. He never posted his location so im not sure where he is from or what type of riding he does.....but C&A's means he is probably a Groomed Trail guy. Nothing wrong with what he has as they are a Great Ski, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT it's not the ski as much as WHAT YOU PUT UNDER THEM that makes them better skis.

1/4 of the performance too...bring those tuners up to the u.p. next week and you will see mine and dennis simmons and how they work
Yah I ride the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Wisconsin mostly. I am from Illinois unfortunately so ya......
I bought the Apex for my Trail blazing sled, just got rid of my turbo cat for it. I am not interested in off trail with this sled strictly trail. I bought the C&A's because thats what was there when I bought it and figured they would work great on trail with the Power steering.
On another note, changing the oil in this thing is a real PITA.......but its all good because it done.
Thanks for all your comments and help so far!
