It's the newest generation of the fox float. They concentrate a lot of air under the sled that actually fills in bumps and the sled skips over them in a semi airplane fashion. And the suspension?
That's where the phrase you ain't seen nothing yet came from. It's truely an air suspension, you can't see it!

I know this thread is about the new 2017 Yamaha's but I see the first release of the Doo's is out. Doesn't sound like a 1200 turbo, but as suspected the 850 etec.

The word on the street is the Cat version is to be called the Thundercat, I haven't heard what the Yamaha version is called yet. SRX, Vmax.....something new maybe? Do they even own the SRX name anymore? aka...Cadillac.

I know all the talk with Yamaha is 4 stroke and a big HP machine. I have to say this, I still wish they offered some smaller budget minded family machines like some others do. Something with the 485 fan cool for instance. Sleds for your kids and such. I think the current 4s Phazer needs to be re-worked too. It just doesn't appeal to many.

No big hp sled from them either. Looks like Yamaha and Cat playing in the big boys arena for 2017 with hp.... Tuesday can't come soon enough! Only 7 more sleeps!I know this thread is about the new 2017 Yamaha's but I see the first release of the Doo's is out. Doesn't sound like a 1200 turbo, but as suspected the 850 etec.

the small displacement low budget quality sled would be a great idea... i mean, out the door a 9000$ new with 100hp light and good handling...that would be good, a 7000$ new 80hp sled also for the juniors and family.. i don't know why nobody does it much..anyway.. i think Polaris had a classic 600 or 500 that was pretty cheap..

Hahahahahahaha! No way Yamaha releases a new sled under $10000 here in Canada...just wait and see. The identical sled from AC will be cheaper by a few hundred bucks.

2017 Ski Doo MXZ with carb 600. $7399 MSRP, $400 more for elec start. Granted it is a basic sled, but it does the job quite nicely.

X2... They will sell more of those than that fn ugly duck face 850 they just released. Good thing they added an extra 50cc to squeeze an extra 3 HP out. Sux to be a Doo guy right now lol.2017 Ski Doo MXZ with carb 600. $7399 MSRP, $400 more for elec start. Granted it is a basic sled, but it does the job quite nicely.
