I'd be happy with my engine in updated skid. I've upgraded shox & ski's & i'm very happy, but a 10 year skid is .....well a 10 year old skid. DUE for NEW...

...and in the 05 era Yamaha came out with the Pro Active, then it was the Mono and then last year was the Singleshot. Is one good one (IMO) outta three acceptable? Not to me it isn't. I guess maybe I always have to consider putting a FAST skid and WRP +2 seat on my Yamaha's.

Sure....let's shoot for 150!

How many pages did we end up with for 2016? 2015?

i don't care if its 2stroke or 4stroke as long as they can come out with a good chassi that is light, strong and have the weight in the right places(balanced) The rest i will fix by my self in the garage :) like skins running boards, shocks++++ There isn't one sled in the market by now that is perfect for me, there is always something that can be better for me and my driving of the sled :)

Don't forget the CK skid.

Good article in Japanese gives you an idea of how small the market is for the snowmobile industry. Google translate does a fair to poor job in translating. Figured this is good to pass the time until mar. 1st

Thanks for that. Here is a google translate link for the technically challenged.

Different skids for each model is part of yammies problem. Everyone else has 1 or 2 skids calibrated for different models properly and efficiently.
Monoshock, now singleshot for old jap models, unique phazer skid, nytro had unique skid. Viper models all based on single cat trail or mtn skid with different lengths of course.
Then focus on making it work properly for the intended user. Added bonus, save tooling costs.

I would love it if they came out with a new nytro. Prolly not going to happen this year but hopefully in 2018.
