Yeah unfortunately there are idiots still posting all the new stuff on the BRP site and YouTube. What a mess.

EDIT - and who's FI system, ECU, chaincase, etc. is going to be used?
Need to be patient and wait for the full disclosure....IMO.

That's right! GREAT start....no pun intended. Now...how about the COMPLETE FI system including the mapping? And the chaincase?
Lastly and maybe most importantly for ME...the rear skid and the rider ergo's.
Until today, I wasn't seeing my self on this sled....but now....maybe! If it's not a beast to handle on the trail the fun factor would sure be VERY HIGH as compared to my 2014 Vector LTX. That's worth something to me.

Hey! I save my vacation for the winter and don't have cabins and Idaho to go to like you do!!!! As to the money....you can't take it with you! Remember....my wife has already given me the OK to buy a new sled!!!
That's always the #1 obstacle! BUT....I need an enclosed trailer first.

Rear skid and ergo's are also my biggest things and by the looks of it the seating position looks way better than my apex even with the wrp seat... Can't wait till 5 pm...

Those are the key questions IMO. The other thing that might make a difference is if the chassis has been changed at all to fit the turbo motor. The motor placement in the Vipers doesn't look optimal to me.
If drive line and engine management are all Yamaha, then that starts to become more enticing IMO. The rest, being the chassis, is what Yamaha was never really good at anyway.

Actually there's a ton to discuss. What HP? What weight? Anything else coming? Did this detract from more coming? Can we adjust the chain now? Come on boys, we have 5 more hours of speculating & maybe more pissin' & moaning. I just need to see the price

All I know is yamaha better not disappoint! I've seen a lot of people anticipating it and saying they might switch brands of they're not impressed. Not saying I will but they've got a lot riding on this did!

Well I have 1049 with 185 hp already. I would think it would be closer to 200 with the intercooler.
I am interested in the headlight though as it seems that not much else changed.

We might just as well accept the fact that there will probably never be anything new coming from Japan other than engine's.....which might not be a bad thing.Well the BRP sites must like what they seen than... They can trash talk all they want but deep inside they know they r gonna get smoked on the snow...
And we still don't know what is coming from Japan...
