New '22 gets POWER STEERING!

So, I will Add this because I think it matters! This last week We did a big 3 day trip and I was smart and took an extra sled . My 2017 #*$&@ Doo 1200 MXZX Secondary clutch took a #*$&@ ( rollers)
Anyone that has worked on the QRS secondary Knows It's a big pain in the Rear and you need special tools to get it done. I could have changed my buttons on the Vectors clutch while my brother was in taking a dump! End of Rant ! but not the end of my ride . I hauled out the wife's 2008 Vector and took it for a 200+ mile ride and it never missed a beat ! Yes it doesn't take the monster bumps like the R-motion but it was nothing I complained about . And on the big fields I was neck and neck with my Brothers 1200. I'll be keeping both of my Vectors :)

The Vector is/was one of my favorite sleds, and my wife’s Vector with power steering has been a great sled for her. My point was not meant to diminish the worth of the Vector in any way, but you have agree that the Vector is dated, and the one thing that has kept my wife riding her Vector is the power steering. Without it, she would sit by the fire and drink wine. I have thousands of miles under my belt on my old Vector, and the simple truth is that I and everyone I ride with, find the Pro Cross to be a more comfortable and better handling sled, especially when the trails get beaten up. Power steering on a Pro Cross chassis will reduce rider fatigue, and make it that much better. The fact that it will be on a Sidewinder just adds to the total package. Whatever you do, don’t try out a Sidewinder, it may spoil you for any other sled.

I am 70+ now, and I moved on from a Vector to a Procross back in 2015, and I would never go back. My buddy also has a Sidewinder, and still has his 2011 Vector. I rode my Sidewinder yesterday, and he rode his Vector. The trails were beat. He got off his Vector, and said, "I am so glad I rode it, now I know why I love my Sidewinder so much." (He said he is selling the Vector.) With power steering in a Pro Cross, you will never look back.

Sorry do not mean to insult anybody’s opinion on here. My blood used to be Cat Green. And I believe you. I said on here along time ago my dream sled would be a Viper with the aftermarket power steering. And the King Air rear suspension. And Team Fast front Airshocks. I will say though that the Singleshot with the updated air shock is impressive. As much as I have never had a chance to ride a Procross. So I should not knock it. But if people have never had a chance to ride a Singleshot with the updated shock their in the same boat. I base my opinion on the updated Single shot. On my experience with the 136 M10 I put in my old modified Cat. P.S. there is a reason Gerard Karpik. Is working for Yamaha. And I hope it is a good one. I bought my M10 suspension from his brother Dave. He built the Blade snowmobiles. Thanks to somebody posting recent Yamaha patent application on here. I discovered his name was all over it. Great to see!

should be interesting to see if the EPS is the same on the new SW as the Ventures. I added EPS to my 2020 2up SW and it is awesome...if some here prefer not to have it then that's Ok...I think most will think its a game changer if they have any medical issue with tendonitis and such OR just want to be less fatigued at the end of the day...lets face it...there is a safety factor being less fatigued...thanks to Yamaha and GSE for bringing these products to us ;)!
