New Battery (boring topic HUGE weight/$ savings)

Only had 5-6 rides last year, not one issue...once you experience the "waking up" it doesn't concern you again...and for me, as I have posted, I have a direct wired hand warmer switch that I turn on, while I am getting other sleds and mine ready for ride, then, when pa k and gloves, helmet, goggles etc are all ready to ride turn the switch, and never an issue....

You did use the special charger and not the standard trickle charger right? You cant use the standard trickle charger on these types of batteries or they will be damaged. If these batteries get to low from some sort of draw or sudden discharge you can ever get them back or at least that what I was told when i bought mine. I have a anti gravity and have not had any issues other then a very light wallet. a little more information would be helpful or it looks like you are just trying to stir up chit. How old?? what type?? tempeture? how long was it sitting? any sign of weak starts leading to this event?? did you check the power level at the battery terminals and not just turning the key on??

What?! Have you read any of my posts on here or even in this thread! I am honest and up-front about everything and to accuse me of stirring "chit" up? Get a clue. I was one of the first to install one of these batteries and probably the first to install a heater to wake them up. I did not post the nitty gritty details because I was not looking for help and simply reporting back my experience. I felt that because I was one of the first to try it that I should update people.

My ballistic battery does not work and is under a year old. This is a true statement and I am not the only one.

What is actually too bad is the fact of along with accusing people you are spreading information that is simply wrong.

Dude!!! Lightien up on the caffeine

Never accused you of anything. just asked for more information on how it failed Thank you for letting me know your battery failed I am sure a lot of people will sleep better knowing that.

I would check the amp draw with the ignition off. Maybe something caused the battery failure?

I had my hid kit suddenly fire (with the ignition off) and it would have killed the battery in no time if i had not been there when it happened.
