Mid season release of the new FX130 was brought up at a bar a couple nights ago! Said it was in a magazine that it was very possible!! Putting 2 450 bike motors together for 130 hp!!!!!
Ski Doo is also coming with a Mid season new one it said in the same magazine!
Just figured someone on here might have heard or read it too!!!
I'm glad I didn't buy the 80, I know that now!!! I almost bought 2 for the kids!

I think you might see if for '08, but Im not holding my breath.
I think you will see a Genesis 120 in the FX chassis before you will see 2 450s put together.
People complain about the vibration of the 500, what are they going to say if Yamaha puts together 2 450s and has a 900 twin?

New Motor
I was told it's going tp be the Nytro motor @ 120hp. I think this might be a little heavy for the nose of that sled. I think this is the same setup as the new racer.

Kudo's to Yamaha, what a fantastic sled !If it was that simple (slap two YZF450 motors together then the Phazer would have been two 250's put together).

Not that I can remember. I think mid-season releases are a BS deal.
Everyone who bought a Phazer to use as a big bump/ditchbanger but had doubts about whether or not it has enough power would be VERY unhappy if Yamaha came out with the same sled with a much bigger engine.
