Finally picking up a leftover 09 Nytro on tomorrow!!!! I have wanted one since they first came out with the new style, so I'm totally pumped. To bad I'm going to have to wait till the snow flies again to ride it.
For the hand warmer problem, should I wait to see if its ok for me? Or just go ahead and buy the Yamiheaters? I read here that some are better than others depending on how the ECU is programmed. I'm assuming some of you complained to Yamaha already with no resolution? Is it worth my time to fight with them after freezing my hands off? Is the thumb warmer ok? What about the ski problem? Has any one tried stock skis with Stud boy deuce bars? I went to them on my Vector and completely eliminated darting.

well known grips are weak, guanlets are awesome, ride with thin gloves. duelies work, but pilots or simmons will make it very friendly. waiting for snow sucks, bought my xtx after snow last year. gave me plenty of time to do homework, added wheels, scartchers, high shield, simmons etc

Do the Yamaheater. Your fingers will thank you! Thumb warmer is fine. Ski's are something you can change, after you ride it and decide what you like and don't like. My brother rides with stock skis, and has no problems. I on the other hand, could not stand it. If you got a fx nytro standard, save up for Hygear's Tripple rate springs, makes the sled handle better, and dart less. Hope you can handle the wait for the snow to return............

Have an 09 fx,have put the new grips that are in the yamaha acc. catalog on and they work real good.I do run duece bars on my stock skis 6inch and they work real good.Have a pair of simmons and didn't care for them, they are for sale.Have added the trail tank for the extra fuel on long trips, works great.Hope this helps out a little.

Congrats on the new ride!! It is going to be a long wait for sure. All I have done with mine is two sets of idlers, slidekicks, taller custom windshield, tunnel block off, accessory plug and deuce bars. So far so good...........

Nytro

Congrates on the sled. I Have the xtx and have had no problems (knock on wood) with the hand warmers. For the skis, it is just as others have said, try the stock skis with a set of dualies. I run 6inch dualies on my stock skis and have no issues.

Now you have to play the waiting game like the rest of us and pray for one more big snow fall.

I tried a set on an XTX and it worked great, but they been modified by the owner(dont know what he did)
