I have been receiving quite a few requests to build a ROV kit for the Sidewinder. With that in mind, we have designed a ROV kit for the Sidewinder that replaces the normally closed OEM check valve with a normally open system similar to our Viper ROV kits.
Just like our Viper ROV kit, the Sidewinder ROV kit is a premium unit that features a Roll Over Valve Control Module (ROVCM) and the quick prime oil pump re-prime system!

The first link is not working.

Call me stupid, but one side of the roll over valve is connected to the plenum that is pressurized by the turbo. The OEM roll over valve will most likely prevent this pressure to enter the oil tank and in extension the crank case. With an normally open roll over valve the turbo pressure will also pressurize the oil tank and the crank case. Tell me that I'm stupid or is this a bad idea?

Im currently going to install an Arctic Cat magnetic kill tether as I do not like the one you have in this kit as its given me headache in the past.Ar
So Is it possible to still use your kit with the new magnetic tether from AC??
Thanks

It may be possible to use it. Although since the Cat magnetic switch is brand new year, I haven't had a chance to see how it's wired yet.

Most magnetic switches are a fairly low current type of switch and then a relay is used to control the electrical load. I also use a relay in the ROV kits, so the tether switch itself only has to control a load of about 20 milliamps which helps extend switch life. That being said, if the magnetic switch is a normally closed switch it should be able to be adapted in to work. (Normally closed meaning that the circuit is closed while the lanyard is plugged in and opens when the cord is pulled.)

Would it be possible you could look into seeing if the new magnetic tether will work before this season and intergrade it into a kit I could buy from you??
If so I would simply return the one I bought from AC and just buy it with your kit??

Thanks

PSSS
How much testing has been done with your rollover kit that I could go read up on??

Thanks

Thanks for the part # on the switch sidewinderpower ;)!

Lot's of testing and threads on the ROV over the years. This is actually my 10th year of making them!! Just like sleds, I have steadily improved the ROV over time with the largest jump in technology being ROVCM.

Were have you found the magnetic switch? It seems to back-ordered wherever I look.

Checking in with ya on the Magnetic switch conversion for me. Im ready to place an order for your system and I already have my AC magnetic switch??

Thanks
