Hey Guys,
Looking for opinions and input. Those of you riding with tunes or just exhaust/clutching.
Would you bother riding stock for a while or Hot Rod it from the get go? Wondering fuel economy tune vs. stock also. Warranty factor aside. Thanks.

I ran mine this year stock other than clutching. I wanted to make sure everything was good with the first year engine and see what was working out flash wise. Next year I'll have the full TD package on it. If I was buying an 18 I'd go straight to a tune since the engine has proven itself and the tuners are up to speed.

Mine is stock, no issues, awesome sled

the begginning of the year, motor was an unknown entity...it is now well known...if you are okay with the possiblity of affecting your warranty...boost it now!

I had 0.1 miles on my sled when I added the TD EcoTrail/SuperQuiet package - so right from the start. Only 1340 miles in this crappy Winter, but 100% trouble free and loving it. Love it so much I just ordered the TD flasher and the tune bundle so I can turn up the wick.

Thanks for the reply. How's your gas mileage with the tune? Did you have any way of comparing it to stock?

My riding buddy has a stock (clutched) Viper and I'm never more than .5 gallon more than him, sometimes I do better than he does.
