Get your suspension tweaked to the way you like it. Mileage is the only way to get that figured out.
I don't know where you ride, but if you have any low snow conditions, your stock carbides will last about 4 1/2 minutes. Scrap those in favor of something else. That's a whole other can of worms as to what to reccommend, but I would say get something thats easy to find locally in a hurry of you damage one.
Other than that, I would say to stud it if your conditions warant, and enjoy it! Get used to it, and you'll figure out what you want.

Congrats on the purchase - you'll love the sled!! I just purchased and applied graphics from ArticFx since I wasn't crazy about the stock graphics. They came out really well - they have really good application instructions on their website and Jordan gave me some good tips as well. I didn't go with the camo but here's the link with pics of how my sled came out.

Thanks for the replies and links to his site....nice looking sled with those graphics K-pex....I found the urban camo graphics im looking for and probably am going to purchase those? Any others have these graphics on their sled that have pics I could see? Also how long did the whole process take you and how durable are these graphics in the snow, slush, etc?

I haven't ridden with the graphics yet so I can't really comment about durability. What I can tell you is that they appear to be stuck on there for good,,, and I mean that in a good way. I really have no concerns about them ripping or coming off.
I took my time applying them because I wasn't in a hurry and didn't want to screw anything up. I did my hood in the basement over two nights. I started with one of my smallest decals as they are easier to apply than the larger ones. The decals on the hood are a wet application so that makes it a bit easier since you can move them around a little. I did the rest of the decals in my heated garage. You could probably put them all on in 2 hours or so. I wasn't in a hurry so I took my time and enjoyed!!
