The polaris rr is a good example, they rip on the tracks but alot of trail riders hated them as a production sled in alotta cases. Your average trail rider doesnt need 12 inch front travel and 15 inch rear on a sled you need to put effort into to keep flat on corners.
The snopro is a similar case, awesome race chassis but not that well suited for trails. Also the snopro would be a fortune for consumers, they make no profit on selling them to racers (in most cases lose money)they are expensive to produce and have high end components.
Yes the race versions would suck consumer versions could be made cheaper and building more would cut down cost. snopros are availible as cross-country sleds also.
