So both my friend's ZR200 and I manged to flood both machine 3 times now. Had to remove plug, heat it up with a lighter and put it back in. I even tried 1/3 choke two pulls then no choke. Same thing. This was at -20C in my shed. I'm changing the sparkplug for Iridium since I never was able to foul these on my SRX, I can't imagine doing it with a 4 cycle.

If you unplug the throttle safety switch (for lack of better term) you can start sled using throttle rather than the throttle lever needing to be pushed against the switch.

I find choke and full throttle works to start it every time. Never fouled a plug and did not have to disconnect the throttle safety switch. Hot or cold, i start it with full throttle. Small gas engines like these typically have a governor that the holds throttle at full open until it starts and then govorner pulls throttle shut against the idle stop screw.

I'll give it a try when cold perhaps it will limit my pulling from 8-10 tries. When hot I start it with just a bit of throttle first pull.

All I can say is this little SnoScoot 200 is a blast. I was one of the dealers to be fortunate enough to test pilot these units in Huntsville. They accelerated well and had speeds of 25mph plus with a 200lb rider on them. Suspension was great and cornering was excellent.
Step up kits for this unit will be available as well.
I believe at $3799.00 this is a great price point unit. It does have very limited availability and small margins for the dealers this season. I believe if you can get one at these great little units at list price with the Yamaha $100 acc option included you are doing well.
Do you know if the ones you tested had the 'Heavy Duty Spring kit' installed?
I ordered a 2019 for my daughter, but my wife will most likely ride it also and I am wondering if I need to get the spring kit for her. She's about 100lbs.

The suspension has 3 settings. At 100lbs she's a featherweight and the second spring setting should be plenty. My wife rides with my 3 year old on our land at that settings no problem.
