New SxS

is the X2 a 19 or 20? Disconnect the sway bars and it should ride like a Cadillac

19 rspec. It was rough out of the box. Then I softened the shock settings and it made a big improvement. But then I put 28" 8 ply radials on and it is pretty rough again. Also have the 2" Perfex lift but hasn't been installed yet. Been thinking about disconnecting the sway bars but my riding partners are a bunch of animals and I'm a little leary of it getting tippy in the twisties.
 

I saw a post on Wolverine Nation on Facebook of the new sxs yamaha is coming out with. Its called a wolverine RMax. Someone found info on the US EPA website. Looks to be two new sxs yamaha is coming out with. The wolverine Rmax in a 2 and 4 seater. Looks to have a 999cc motor with 107hp and an automatic transmission.

Better sell it before the new wolverine is released. Probably going to tank the value of the x2 and x4 like they did with the og wolverines. I have a 2017 wolverine r spec that my parents are probably going to buy from me. I have too many add ons on my wolverine for how low its worth on the market. I would rather it go to someone I know. Hope this new wolverine rmax is legit with big suspension, tires and hp because I'm probably going to buy one.

Slowing the video down I see it has some beefy lower a arms. I was hoping for a rear swing arm suspension, looks to be all a arm suspension.
 
You are right the teaser only gives you maybe 3 frames of the underside and 3 of a sway bar that you would never see playing it straight through. I guessing it will be more of a rock crawler with a lot of torque and more ground clearance than the current X2/X4 platform. I have a 2018 X4 and love the way it handles the tight trails in the woods and it does everything I need it to.
Release is supposed to be in Sept but didn't hear a date.
 
Apparently somebody saw on the EPA listing that this new motor will be 107 or 8 horsepower 2 cylinder? Built in Yamaha engine plant in Indonesia
 
It’s not that hard to figure out. They hung a turbo on a Viper, creating the Sidewinder, it saved Yamaha from dropping out of the sled business.

They already have the engine and tune, it’s a no brainer but apparently they lack common sense. A 240 horsepower YXZ would take the business by storm, bringing customers over from all other competitors. They could charge huge for very little effort on their part.....but hey what do I know?

It reminds me of when the arrogant Harley Davidson Corp refused to build a custom chopper. Instead they chose to R&D a brand new platform that cost huge and profited little, the Vrod pile! When I asked why they didn’t just take existing models and make simple changes like larger tires and raked front ends the answer was “Harley Davidson doesn’t follow markets, we create them”..........yea how’s that workin out for ya now Jackwagons?
 
The biggest problem with these companies is the people who are making the decisions don’t even ride the machines.
