Call Yamaha dealer with vin and see if all the pdates were done especially the cold start update.

I think everyone would agree #1 improvement for performance/acceleration is putting on a decent track, hands down best "seat of the pants" improvement.

Is your machine bone stock?

I tried to get the cold start update done, it was too long ago. Last year yamaha basically told me they were not going to give free parts to a 5-year old sled that was way off warranty. This was a conversation directly with Yamaha Canada, not a dealership. Good luck though, worth a shot if its not done!

There are LOTS of improvements that can be made, depends on what you want to $pend!!

Suspension/handling, power, what do you want!? Some improvements are cheap, others not so much...

Lol I figured how evr big my wallet is ! I'd like to do some small handling and performance within a tight buudget

Correct, it expired. I bought my last two I did off Ebay, one was 75 bucks the other was 150 bucks. I just replaced the ECU and was happy with the results.

07 phazer gt already check has had all but a connection recall done

I would at one of the most noticeable improvements is get the upbushman steering upgrade kit it improved mine so much. It is way less darty and seems to just rail.
