How does it work? Do you hit the button once and thats it you have to refill or do you have more Nitrous in it after you hit the button once?

It just activates a nozzle that sprays it into the motor while you hold the button down.
The principal is just adding more oxegy to the motor, so nothing stays in it after you let off the button. Its a cheap bang for the buck, but youhave to do it in moderation to avoid engine damage, and always have to re-fill the bottle.

It depends on the bottle size also. Some bottles you have about 8 seconds. Then refill time. It's a cheap hp mod IN THE BEGINNING, but it will cost you lots in the long run from refilling the bottle all the time. I was looking at his for my Attak, but decided to boost the sled instead. A better bang for the buck IMO.

I do plan on adding some nitrous to my Supercharged sled, so I can blow the Turbos away! lol

Anyway, there is allot of info on this in the 4 stroke nitrous forum. Search and you'll find plenty.

A Holtzman kit has a 2.5lb bottle and it lasts for about 45 seconds. That's with a 90hp shot.

1CrazySledder, you may just want to use one 10 gram fogger nozzle. This is good for about 30hp. The bottle would then last 3 times longer!

Yeap, there is a post from Hammer I saved. I think that is what he used. Mounted it right in the tube as there is already a bung for it! So many ideas, I also was kicking around the idea of Water/Meth as well. Cash is short this year, so I have plenty of time to research for next season. lol

N2O

I use a 7lb tank on my sled, mount it on top of the clutch cover. I get about 20 runs(800-1000feet) with a 90hp shot.

7lbs x $5 a lb=$35 a fill.
20runs/$35=buck-and-a-half a run.
N2O kit was $450 with some of my own parts to save coin...

Supercharger or Turbo kit...$5grand or so??
It'll take about 128 fills to equal $4500 + the $5hundo for the kit.

My sled will get 2,560 runs before I am equal to the Five Grand outlay.
If the huffer is more or less expensive, then we can figure out the costs, from there, but I think spray is MUCH more economical given the fact that ALL stock trail manners and reliability is retained until you hit the button.

The difference is yours is only fun when on the happy button a boosted sled is fun every time your in the throttle

owning both a turbo sled and a nitrous sled the turbo is better.nothing worse then running your mouth off to your buddies and running out of nitrous during a run.that turbo power is always there.
