Sled starts runs fine but no lights. Dash is fine, fuses are good.
Where to start?
Thanks!

You checked all fuses? If they are good then possibly a wire rub through.

I'm not en electrical expert but I would've thought that if the fuses are good, it's not likely to be a rubbed raw wire (otherwise I'd expect a short & a blown fuse). Makes me think likely a connection or ground but I have no wiring diagram so I was hoping others who have had the same problem might give me some "likely" places to start looking.
Thanks again,
Bob

Good point GrassfireBob. I'm thinking back to days on the 2 stroke Viper -- wire rub throughs we're often the culprit for those types of issues. Just trying to help.

My vote is a frozen headlight relay.. just happened to me yesterday!

It's been in my heated shop. I just swapped relays with another sled & that didn't help. I'm looking at the connection that goes from the sled to the headlight pod. Anyone know the wiring diagram for that connector? I'm guessing black=ground, red=power, green & yellow=power to the headlights.
If that's the case, I have power to the red/white (12v), & power to the red/black, but nothing else. Doesn't matter if the sled is running or not.

Just swapped ignition switch w another sled. Rule that out.
Swapped entire headlight/dash pod- rule that out. Swapped out all 4 relays. Rule that out.
Tested & have power to the fuse.
NEW: wiggling headlight pod connection, lights flickered. Thought sure I was on to it. Shut off sled, inspected, turned key to power (but not start position) & lights lit! (thought sled had to be running but apparently not). Wiggled briefly & lights out.
Really could use a wiring diagram.

I believe the sled does need to be running for headlights, I would start checking wires for a short.

The engine needs to be running to energize the load control relay (relay #59 on my schematic). The load control relay switches power directly from the 40A battery fuse #4 to the 3A dc accessory socket fuse #53, the 20A headlight fuse #54, and the 10A tail/brake light fuse #55.
Do you have power at your dc accessory socket with the engine running? If not, I would suspect the load control relay or the 40A battery fuse #4. However since you said that you had the headlight on momentarily with the engine off I would highly suspect the load control relay.
