i am having a problem with one of the rear drive shafts the right one making noise. i think it is the nuckle. but i have not taken it out yet. i think the shaft breakes down in parts is that right ?and could some one help me with a good sit to get parts? 2004 yfm660fs

There is not really that many parts between the rear end, and the tire, you got the cv axle (which i dont think you can buy parts for, i think you can only buy full shafts, and half shafts) then the wheel bearings. I'd say check the wheel bearings before anything really.

and where were you riding when you first noticed this noise?

i think it is called a double off set [Double Off Set Joint RH (superceed: 5KM-2530V-11-00] can enyone give me a good site for a better price my local dealer is 224.00 to much i think for one side thanks

Double Off Set Joint RH (superceed: 5KM-2530V-11-00

i received the part i thought it would be just the ball bearing part but it is the whole unit that comes out of the rear end. so could someone help me with removing the old one it apears that it just slips in ? some pic,s or a manual

its the entire axle?? If so, remove the rear wheel, then center bolt, then caliper, hub, then pull on the shaft and the spring pin will release, then pop the new one in and its good to go.

You may want to get the revised clips from Yamaha too. I guess some of the Grizzlies had bad clips and the axle would pop out while driving. Since you have it apart I would put them in. I haven't had mine apart but I guess there's a circlip that holds the axle in. Good luck ;)!

trying to load some pic,s

not sure if this will work
