I already have at least two weeks in February booked in Quebec. What you guys should look into is a bagger trip. I can direct to you a very good place to leave from where your trucks and trailers will be locked up and safe while you head out on a 3-5 day loop. If this is something you are interested in, it's actually pretty easy to put together as far as room reservations for each night and mapping out gas, etc... I don't know if I am going to be able to get away for a third week this Winter myself, but I would love to be able to.

Qc- where do you stay when you do your bagger? Me and about 5 of the boys want to go up north this year but just can't decide where.Any input would be appreciated.

I don't currently have any plans to do a bagger trip this year. My two weeks are already spoken for. What I was saying is that it would be a geat trip to do.
You need a good starting point and reasonable mileage expectations from day to day, some idea of where dealers are is always good too. If you have a GPS there is some good information in the GPS section on this site as well.

I'm definitly not into the bagger trips, one day up there at a time is fine for me...
I like riding from 'the spot' to La Taque and back...225 miles

Travis, we must have met. You drive to Canada to ride one day?

We might have met. Yes, all trips last year were one day, might do a couple nights at 'the spot' this year...but that would require a weekly pass...we shall see I am sure we will meet this year bud.

I ride in QC every year. Live about 20 miles north of the I89/91 junction, about 3 miles off I91.
Not sure about St Zenon, been too much sled and truck theft up there. It is also quite busy during peak times.
I normally base out of Shawinigan, and then do overnighters / multi-day trips from there.
Also ridden the St Anne du Lac / Clova / Parent and so on area.
The other area I ride is from the NH border, leaving the truck in Pittsburg, and heading into QC for a few days.
This year I'd like to do the Gaspe, if anybody is interested.

Quebec trip Jan 28-Feb 2
Myself and some others are hitting the Quebec trails in January. We are going up Sun 1/28 and returning Friday 2/2, riding Monday morning through Friday afternoon. Hopefully we will hit at least 4-5 out of the 6 "Tours" (Tours are excursions/long trails, not actuual tours)you can take. Anybody interested is welcome to join. We are staying at Auberge La Glaciere in St. Zenon. Feel free to join us on the ride. Should be some good riding. Now let the snow fall!!!!

Beer, food, strippers. Depending on your need for each, will vary how much money you will require.

I think it's about $175 usd a season, don't know about the weekly rate.

I've been up there - if you're used to riding in the NY area, all I can say is YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE MISSING. It's that good.
