Not starting...

I don't remember ever hearing of a phazer fouling a plug trail side. Only from starting and not letting it warm up, after storage, bad gas ect.

I wait until the rpm's drop down before shutting it off.

UPDATE:

We'll looks like you guys were right... Siphoned out all the gas and put in fresh 91 octane, cycled the fuel system a few times and cranked it....NOTHING!... ( insert curse words here, here and here...need to go shovel the drive way....more curse words here) lol.
Went back 45 mins later crank crank pop crank crank fart crank fart fart Vroom... ITS ALIVE!!!

Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Now for another question. Should I add some injector cleaner like sea foam or something ? Or will the fresh gas flush everything out?

It can't hurt. I don't think that the injectors were dirty. Just old gas or fouled plugs that eventually decided to fire.

Just out of curiosity (related to another thread), does yours say to use 87 or 91 octane? If you used 87, it likely had ethanol which is bad for long term storage. I avoid 87 octane and ethanol like the plague.

Last year when I put it away I siphoned out all the gas and used it for the lawn mower. I try not to leave much gas in the tank. So this year I dumped in the last of the lawn mower gas, not the same as I removed and then... Above story...
It calls for 91 and I run that as much as possible, but I'll use fresh 87 before stale 91 that we sometimes find in the small towns. Some of those little towns don't even have 91 or 89. I was told that the computer will adjust for the 87 and detune the engine. After running a tank of 87 I sure notice the difference once I can get 91 again... Lol

Another question; as stated I more often then not on a long days outing ( 200-300kms) we can't get the 91 gas. Should I be able to add an octane boost like +104 ? And how much to a tank ?

Shouldn't have to. Our sleds will run fine on 87 unless it detects knock where the KCS will kick in, retard the timing and flash the light to let you know. I think they run fine on 87 unless it's bad.

Ok, thanks.
We have run the sleds for 3-4 day excursions and only on 87 as that's all that was available with no issues.
