I bought a 121 rip saw for my o3 RX, put 144 1.325's in center belt. Was wondering if any body is running any more than that' 192 or so. Thought's please before i put the track in the sled.

I am getting ready to install a 136" Ripsaw, I am putting 144 up the middle. In my opinion that is plenty if you are not a hardcore racer. Heard the 1.25"s hook up awesome!!

I just bought a 9830 Predator to put on my 03. I'm putting 192 down the middle in it. After running many different combos I've found that the studs in the outside belt are basically a waste of time for what I want. They have been very little help for traction and they have worn out very quickly compared to the studs in the center so on this track I'm runnin all down the middle. Should be a beast when I pull the trail studs and put in chisels for a little ice racin. Good luck with the new track :D

I used a the Woody's performance pattern. It was for 192 (three in the middle and one in the outside). I did the three in the center and then just went back through and added one in each row to get 192 down the center. I use a similar pattern in my Vmax-4 and with the extra stud in each row it should hook-up real good :D

I pulled four through the outside belt's on the week tit track it came with that is mainly why i am going all in the center this time. A Yamaha rep that i know talked me in to the rip saw, sound's like it should be a great improvment. Also going with simon's HH set up and Pioneer's custom rear shock. This should take care of most all of the issue's i had with the RX. Thank's for the response.

I was going to start studding this week . I am going to go with 192 but with 1 on each of the outside spots . Do you think this will rip out the outside bars ?

I kind of thought with every bar studded on the outside that would reduce the load on an individual stud.
I really dont want to be experimenting and have to buy a new track sooner than later.

I would like to spend money on other mods

SrXxTrEeM. no problem, I have the track drilled already and it looks pretty sweet but I'm waitin for studs right now. I'll be sure to get a pic and send if to ya when I'm done. :D
