nytrozula said:103 in 1000ft without studs? You better check your speedo?
we were not on ice, it was packed snow on the lake..my buddy posted the vids on his FB, I'll get the YouTube link tomorrow..
why, what's the big deal with no studs??? All of us seem to be all right at 100mph give or take a couple mph..the sled I was riding with was a 800 with a 144" ice ripper..the wife and I took him off the line and pulled away repeatedly..not denying we all know Yamaha speedos are off by some..

Thought I'd bring this old thread back for fun as myself a few buddies went out for some lake running today. 2016 Doo XRS 800 still in break in ran 102 mph, 09 XP 800 ran 101 mph, 2015 ZR 8000 with 137" track ran 101 mph, 2014 ZR 7000 with Hurricane 190 Turbo ran 105 mph ( ran out of gear ) and my old 08 Nytro RTX ran 101 mph. All speeds were on radar. I was happy with my run, despite serious over rev at 9350 rpm. I'm currently running the Schmidt. Bros stage 2 kit.....I still think the Drag n flys pulled harder and would have been a bit faster....but over all I'm happy for a 235lb guy ( without gear ).

My XTX last year in 1200 feet was running a consistent 107 mph on radar. That's with the full Hurricane setup, with Dave's clutching as well.
105 with MPI supercharger,( 6.5lbs boost - head shim and timing = 5lbs), Ulmer clutch. So I guess a $2500 SC is worth about 4mph! WTF! I was definitely expecting a little bit more than that but wait until next year. the next $1000 will get me twice as much boost!

I had my dream meter read 113 this season with the temp light and low fuel light on. This was holding it wide open for a few miles on a trail with somewhat of a down hill grade...I was LMFAO when I saw it climb up there in the teens.. I know I was moving out, my buddy on his poo said he saw 105 and I was nowhere in sight..

I'm ok with Buck's, Tugger's always takes forever.
Sunday am the Sled Cartel guys grabbed b'fast @ Flat Rock Inn- I did as well against my rule of eating there + buddy was paying for it.
No dog hair in anything luckily but 1/2 of those 10 golden retrievers that they now have migrated from person to person under the bar & beg like a 'lil 5 year old kid in the toy section of Wally World. $7.50 for 2 eggs/ toast/ 2 pieces of bacon, it's goin' in my belly!
