Firts posting on ty for me so here goes. Purchased some new slydog skis and went out for a tour at -20c. sled ran great until engine lost power, engine light flashed at me then woke up again before i got stopped. could not tell how many times engine light flashed at me. warning light went off and no trouble after that. Suspect possible fuel pump relay froze. Anybody have similar problem. 08 rtx.

Temp light did not come on but lots of air flow and only out for 10 min when happened.

If/when it happens again, check for a code that flashes up when the light comes on. It could have been the TORS activating. Were your handlebars cranked when it happened?

Had the warmers and thumb turned half way (had bar muffs on). Engine bogged as though fuel or spark turned off for about 3-4 sec, let off throttle and coasted almost to stop and engine light stopped flashing and warning light turned off as if nothing ever happened. Saw some postings of fuel pump relays filling with water so will have to remove and inspect further. Lots of great info on this site!

If you go into diagnostics you can view the last codes and clear them. Then if it happens again you and you don't get the code you can go in again and check it. The instructions for the going into diagnostics are in the service manual which can be found in TTabs posting in the MTX forum.

sounds like the tors, finally had to override mine, probably should install a tether, but haven't yet. It is a Real Pain when on a pull in deep snow and it does it.

Like the others said get the code when it flashes mine did it a couple times and so fast i couldn't get the code right away either.
