Luckily I'm a nice guy too,my question was 2 days before that thread :die ;)!

Look again. It's two days after. Regardless, I wanted to give you the link because I didn't want people ignoring the new guy.

We are derailing the thread, I won't clutter it up anymore. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

LOL,just to be clear,I don't want to be misunderstood and I know noone else cares but me,I asked the question Dec12,the fox float thread is dated Dec 14.OK I win,now I'm happy

No, you are looking at the date of the last post. How could I have sent you a link to a thread that didn't exist yet? The thread I sent you started Dec 10th.

Good luck.

OK,maybe I'm stupid, but the link you sent me is for steering like a tank. The fox float thread, that only talks about air pressure in fox floats, started today, and that was the thread I was referring to.The steering like a tank thread addresses lots of issues, but noone has really come up with any usefull settings.I'm thinking they are only on there for ride height settings because they don't seem any softer with less air,but they still need to break in,so maybe things will get better.Great sled though, lots of fun to ride ;)!

got some miles on my rtx 136 this afternoon and all I can say is i am very happy with the sled. Feels 100lbs liter than my attak gt, floats have 65lbs of air and feel about right, have already bottomed the rear so thanks to all who said to get the rtx, motor has lots of tq, have already had it to 100 mph
with a 1.5 in track.. Steering takes some getting used to because of the angle the bars swing. OUr snow is hard and got some rain on it so the handling is sometine to get used to cuase at times you are on snow then ice ect.. I should add the sled is ungodly cold and my nuts are still ice cubes lol, will be getting or making some sort of wind deflector and higher windscreen is on the way aslready. I am guess my mileage at around 15 mpg and I was riding fairly hard but on set up snow so it wasn't pulling hard. Overall a great sled for its intended use, just like my attak is.

That's the important thing. Look around, I'm sure you'll find the answers you are looking for.

Well went for an impromtu ride today up on Tug. Some nice powder spots up by the windmills and had a lot of fun carving and playing in it.

We also got into some real nasty chop so I can finally say that this IS a rough trail sled. I was very pleased.

Have you had a chance to see what it will do for a top speed?

This will definately not be the sled to do any lake racing on, but short blasts in the twisties, I think it'll be a winner.
As long as it has the torque to be great corner to corner, and we can get them to handle the way we want them, I think it'll be one for the record books.
I just wish I had more snow to be able to ride mine. I have only put about 4 miles on mine, and the track ratcheted so bad, I took it home.

Nah, not worried about it being a top speed rocket, but I do like to cut loose on the lakes every now and then. It's still a ways off for me, I have the luxury of seeing what 2009 brings (and 2010 depending on my budget) and going from there.

Maybe a turbo...110 would be plenty and you'd get there awfully quick... :nos

Mine saw 104 and that was to the bar for awhile. I didnt look at the RPM's so I dont know what it was turning at

I was up there commissioning those windmills in December '05. Are the guys still getting to the towers in the ol' snocats? I was lucky enough to experience your trails for a whole day. Company rented us some Rev's and we had a blast. Powder in some areas was unbelievable. Good times.
