No not good to go yet. Still have work to do.
You still managed a short rip though, that's more than I can say!

Yeah it worked out well that I was at a stage where all I had to do was put the plastic on and roll out. Don't tell anyone but it still had last years oil in it.
Tonight's list:
Oil change
Chaincase oil change
Drill speed holes!
Maybe start the new paint job

Meh, for the small amount of miles last year's snow allowed, it's almost not worth it. What do you mean by speed holes?

Drilling some more holes in the running boards at the front to get some more snow passing thru.

Well rideable snow is here and I never got to some of the changes I wanted to do this year. So they are going to wait till summer, since I am planning a bit of an overhaul for next year. So this year just a maintenance year.
So far I am hitting 9350 RPM and I think max last year was around 9050-9100ish. I'm not going to change anything yet, as the snow conditions were pretty loose on the river today, so I think it may have just been the conditions.

The sled has been running awesome! The only issue I've been having is on long pulls I am over revving. Hitting 9050 right away then climbing to 9250 and a couple of times I've even hit the limiter.
I went out for two days that were long wide open trails. One the second trip I blew a belt, or at least the top came off it. Then 20 miles later same thing. This sled has never blown a belt then 2 in 20 miles. They are both were older belts to I'm not to worried.....yet.
But I cleaned the clutches, added the heavy nuts to the toe weight on my SBR kit and put a brand new belt on the sled so hopefully that is the end of the belt blowing.

The Ski-Doo Hill-X track I have on this sled has been the best and worst track I've owned. Performance has been outstanding, it bites hard on the hard packed and still works awesome in the powder.
However It spits out track clips and now it appears it is nearing it's end. It only has about 3500 miles on it but it spent it is almost 10 years old having lived rolled up in my buddies garage for year, I think it has dried out.
I'm taking bets on how long before it's turns it's self from a circle to a line.

I'll put $5 on 850 miles, then it breaks.

I'll double check tomorrow but I'm pretty sure current mileage is 5450. I think you are in the ball park. The next few miles will be critical to indicate if it's settled with that damage or it's going to get worse every time I go out.
Any other guesses?

The second one you blew, was it sitting around for a while? Maybe it started deteriorating from age, or maybe it was a factory defect.

Oh no second one was not just old it had over 2000 miles on it in addition to sitting around. They were well used belts which is why I was not worried about it.
