Yeah it's mine as well.
I was going to wait one more year, but the 2013 model is changed, they went to a liquid cooled motor and dumped a bunch more technology into it. The price went way up and it was going to be a lot harder to maintain then the old air cooled ones so, I grabbed a left over 2012.

Crossed the 6000 mile barrier. I now consider my Nytro "in the black" as the engine has exceeded the mileage I got out of my last 2-stroke.
We did our annual 3 day trip and on the second day the power band seemed to change, the sled started to backfire the odd time when I let off the gas and it got louder. When we stopped I notice exhaust coming from the front of the tunnel, so I checked and found this.....

I had a chance to field test my grizztracks gussets that I had welded into my subframe.
Hit a tree, destroyed the bumper, bent the A-arms. Subframe appears undamaged and straight. Skis still perfectly aligned.
If you keep bending subframes contact grizztracks

Yeah that would work. But I might have to wait till summer or fall. Pockets are dry after buying the Ducati.

Well I was hoping to quickly get the exhaust back to Hindle and save some of the season however the collector is stuck on the 3 pipes that run from the back of the engine. I am not surprised they fit very tight when I put it together. But I'd rather have them tight then loose. So it looks like I am going to have to pull the fuel tank and take the pipes off the engine.
By the time I get this out and get a new one my season may be done. But the good thing is we took this season off from the mountains so no problem there. The only problem is we are having an awesome snow year and I'm missing out. Right now my wife's car is snowed in.
So she sits....

With the downtime I've been reflecting on what I want to do with this sled. Now that I've worked thru some of the issues I've had with it, it has really come together to meet my expectations. I am really happy with this sled and so I'm starting to plan this summers updates. Here is what I am thinking so far....
Front suspension: At the very least I will need A-arms for one side. I am also going to keep my eye out for a nice used set of aftermarket. I was also thinking of ditching the FloatXs and looking for Olines or possibly getting a Hygear job on a set of stock XTX fronts. Not sure tho, I do like the floats.
Rear suspension: It looks like I may be getting an XTX skid. If that happens I will need to trim the rail tips, add an anti-stab and maybe a Hygear job on the rear shox. I will also need to get my hands on a 144 track, likely the backcountry. I should probably get some powder coating done while she's apart.
Running boards: I'm going to modify the fish bone braces for more snow to pass thru. Then powdercoat them to match the BNG.
Seat: Keeping my eye open for one of the Skinz seat covers, Not sure they are making them anymore. Or finding a nice used skinz seat might be cool.
BNG: Not sure what but something.
TURBO!: wait, what? Probably not, but a boy can dream.
I'm looking forward to diggin back into it.

Did you have to put some heat on it to get them apart or anything like that?

No heat but it was a pain to get everything apart. Was me a buddy reefing on it for a few hours both for removing and installing the new stuff
