I have a 13 nytro xtx last night it was starting ans running fine today I tried to start it up and all it does is keep creaking but won't fire. I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the key on.
The battery is reading 12.35 volts while it's sitting when it's cranking it reads 10.98 I also tried jump starting it with no success.
I checked as many fuses as I could find.
Unhooked the power commander and returned the wiring to stock.
What else can I trouble shoot?
Thanks

check all fuses and connections for corrosion. Did you check the ignition fuse in the starter relay?

Is there a thread that explains fuse locations. I checked the small fuse box near the reverse lever. And also the 10a ones near the oil tank. Where would the rest be hiding

You might have a stuck relay. They are up in the very front your will see 4 of them kinda by the coolant tank when you pull the top hood piece off. Sometimes that happens when its really cold. Try tapping on them and then try starting it again. Happened to me last year and that was the problem.

Would it stick even if it is warm? It is 70 degrees out ans my heated garage hasn't been below 50.

I'm not sure but that's the first place I would start. The relay has a tiny arm in is that moves when you turn the key and if somehow it got moisture in there is could have made it sick open so it doesn't contact. If that doesn't work I would go through your fuses but that's the exact same problem I was having when it was cold and I called the dealer up and that's what they told me to do and it fired right up.

Its a stuck relay right by the battery. Take a screw driver and jump across the red wire from the battery to the other bigger wire in that relay and it will fire. I would guess it was full of moisture and its corroded.

Yes that can happen if you start it and shut it off after 20 seconds. How many miles are on the sled and have you changed the plugs before?

there are 1400 miles. I cannot remember if I changed the plugs to CR10EK on this nytro or if it was my previous 09 nytro at the beginning of last year.

the tank is almost full I put 6 gallons of non ethanol in it a month ago. At the end of the season I drain the gas and let it run till it dies so i know it wasn't old gas combined with the new gas that is causing this
