you are right , TWISTGRIP,,, nothing on the back BUT YOU HAVE ONE IN FRONT OF THE TRACK and has to be cooled by snow thrown from the track forward from inside the suspension , and the rad helps lots but not enough alone.

I have seen the scratchers with the little flipper on the end of the springs. You can back up with them. If I was going to buy scratchers it would be the steel cable type, I think. I also think the deeper the lug, the more important it would be to have scratchers if you did much trial riding.

well the cable type get mixed reviews , esp. the TRIC yamaha ones , first came out,, they were all def. and i hear they still have problems ,, others the ends break off or they flip and jam in your track , i have seen yamaha hang the tric ones off the sway bar to stay away from the track.
