Anyone who has a pair of Klim "togwotee" or "extreme" bibs have any comments? (positive or negative). Would you buy them again?
I'm looking to buy some new bibs and would appreciate any feedback.
No dealers in the area to check them out in person.
Thanks.

I have a set of klim bibs, jacket and I really like them both. I have the first year style, all black. The bibs have a sealed zipper on the legs that go full length. they have a padded area that goes from the top of my knee to the top of my boot (aprox). the padding is about 1/4 -1/2 inch think just a little stiff but I dont feel anything when I am riding. they have an inner powder guard your boots, and elastic at the bottom of the legs. I really like my klim gear. I wear only the thin klim thermals when riding until it gets around 10 degree F. if it gets colder I will wear a sweater too. I have never been cold in them. they stop the wind great. I have not felt any water from the seat or warm conditions. I ride fast most of the time and I have no problems with wind getting through. they are also have very strong material. I have fallen off my sled a few times and there are not tears or scratchs of any kind. I do not sell any thing either. just a very satisfied customer

I have a Klim polar fleece jacket that I wear under my snowmobile coat when it is colder than 0 F. What you notice is that Klim is designed by people that snowmobile. The fleece jacket has little slots on the sleeves for your thumbs, so that when you a jacket on over it, the sleeves don't ride up your arms.

A friend of mine has the Togwotee gloves and says they are the best he has ever had. They design really nice stuff that is worth the investment.

I bought the Togwotee bibs and the Valdez jacket this year. I would definitely buy them again! However, you must rethink your entire clothing process. Both items are uninsulated. If you wear nothing cotton underneath, you will never get wet. I am pleasantly surprised at how well the material is wearing!

If it is really cold (-15F and below), you will need to make sure you have lots of layers underneath...that's about the only negative I would have.

I agree with snomonut. You must rethink your clothing process. You will never get wet with Klim gear but you must learn to layer according to the temps. you are riding in. Slim
