So I forgot my manual before driving up north for my first oil change. I just read the manual and see I've neglected to drain the oil from the crankcase. 
I thought there was one, but wasn't quite sure as there are a couple of hex-head screws/bolts in that area.
Did the filter, and oil reservoir.
For what it's worth, the rest of the job was pretty easy (at least with the help of a filter, band wrench). I'd say the next round will take about 30-45 minutes:
Fire it up to get things warm.
Take off side panel screws and remove panel.
Take off screws and remove the bottom cover.
Remove head plug, oil level plug, drain plug, filter, and oil pan drain plug.
Install plugs, filter, add oil, run for a few and check for leaks.
Reinstall side panel, add some blue loctite to the bottom cover screws.
Then loosen three screws for the air filter, tilt it out of place, remove the battery cover, the two leads and you're set to take out the battery for the season.

Make sure you didn't over fill this time.. Like I said, if you do a "complete" change it takes 3 full liters.. You may have left 6-8oz.in the crank case.. If that.. MM.
