Can anyone tell me if they relocated the oil filter on the 2011 or 2012 Nytro's? I've heard roomers of this due to the 2008-2009 versions getting damaged so easily.

All they need is a stronger plate to protect the filter and oil pan.

Changing the location or angle of the oil filter is only fixing part of the problem. The engine sump and front heat exchanger need protecting too. That's why I designed the skid plate.

Just buy a roest skid plate its bullet proof, well not actually but you will never damage it

do the aluminum skid plate, while i'm not in the business of fabricating stuff for sale,i have access to metal fab equip.and made my own modeled on roest's design, and in my riding experience,if you don't have one of their skid plates, you are going to wish you did.they are practically indestructable.and they provide some floatation.
