Can't imagine wearing out oilite in this application, pretty tough stuff. If they are truly oil impregnated bronze, they should self lube under load.
A small segment of the whole bushing ID takes the wear if it is secured in the bulkhead properly.
This is why the cheap OEM plastic ones wear through and eventually wear/oval out the bulkhead.
I polish the bolts with 900-1000 grit paper to a high shine in the are the where the bushing run, and even though oilite, apply grease to all surfaces at re-assembly.
