Hell Jim, I'll buy you two beers and talk Ted into not spanking on you guy's to badly ,Hows that for a prize !!!
That's all I needed to hear.
I'm just coming out to play. The week after I get back I have a top-end radar run to do (on snow), so that is going to be the gear/track/clutching that I'll be running. I don't trust studded stock tracks at this kind of speed, so I'm coming without the nails.

I don't blame you on that, The lake we run usually has a plowed track and also a packed snow track that they run( around 1500 feet long) so you,ll be able to play and we,ll have a radar gun handy. You can write the trip off as R/D.

This sounds like a great event guys. Way too far out on the calender to make a solid committment yet, but if I can make it it'd be a great time. Instead of awarding fastest ice or fastest snow drag sled, lets get a raffle going instead? The fastest ice/snow drag sled will already have the award of respect/honor of being the fastest. Do something that is $10 per ticket and have 4-5 prizes in various price ranges? Something like a BPE RX-1 panel package, BPE Apex panel package, Super Tip weight kit, Supreme Tool TUNER secondary clutch, etc just throwing out ideas. Donate 1/2 of the raffle money back to Totallyamaha to help Tom run this site and maybe donate the other 1/2 to a charity that supports snowmobile riding? Again these are ideas.....

Allen , Ideas sound great to me, after all we are all members here and without this site this probably would not take place. Instead of throwing in the t- shirts We can sell them to all that attend and we'll throw 1/2 back to TY. @10 bucks a Tee that will add up.
The Raffle tickets sound good
If the fella's that are attending and are able and willing to donate alittle something we can see what develops.I believe Brothers Performance is allready throwing in some of his goods.
Hope you can see your way to make it.

I suggest that in order for a sled to qualify for ANY prize, it must be rode there on the trail ride... Trailer queens can be for show only.
What do you guys think?

I think think should be for 100% trail ridable sleds. And must be ridden from slickers to big moose lake via the trail system. Although I would still love to see the trailered race sleds run. I am dying to see teds in person. That thing gotta sound unreal.
Good Idea Allen, I don't have anything donate but time, let me know what is needed and I will be right next to speed the whole time doing the old mans heavy work.

The only prize for this unofficial shoot-out is One order of pork wings and one beer for the fastest sled.
What Allen is suggesting is the sale of raffle tickets to any and all to raise some bucks for the TY site, which I think is ok do ke.
And yes to you have to trail ride with the group to be eligible (after all it started as the fastest trail set-up)
All others are welcome to come play

Re: northern apex
I think that's the same weekend as the Minnesota ride, which I was planning on, oh boy, this is going to be a toss up, the Minnesota ride is only 5 hours or so for me, hey Jim (lakercr) we could even ride there on our sleds!!!!!SPEED said:SPEED said:The official ,unofficial date is Saturday Feb.9,2008
