ontario ty ride for 2012

There is still lots of time before deciding on dates. I am very flexible for time off work/school so anything goes for me.

Interested but third week in Feb is a no go for me. Last week in Jan or week of the 5th of Feb is doable

I like those too, I think a lot of people already have yearly trips on the third week of February.

being i'm from northern ontario,i have found that mid to late february is the best all around time to plan a long trip,we have been doing 7 day trips now for 15 + years and only once did we have to come back on a trailer due to a meltdown, that's why many people plan for that time, but late jan would be fun for this ride, really hope i can make it

I'm in and I'd be flexible for dates. Just a couple of questions though. Are kids riding their own sleds allowed (13 and 15)? And since I'm slowly in the process of replacing their disposable (Doo) sleds, is it OK for them to join in? I guess they could ride at the back of the line.

Since I've never been to a group ride like this before, it would great to have the whole family come along. And if one of them breaks down, I can tow them back (Lord knows how often I did that this winter!)

I have never been on a group ride like this before either. I can see the ride having 2 groups like I have read about on other rides. I really can't see a problem with that Mooseman. I have also been wondering if should invite my little brother. He is 15 but will be 16 by next season. But he would be on a 4 stroke cat...

i have seen kids on these rides before. and the wifes and daughters. every one has to sign a waver from TY. kids would have to be legal to drive a snowmoblie on the trail. p.s i have seen pictures of 4 stroke cats on one of these rides being tow by a yamaha yes it is O.K.

They usually make two rides for the same day. One a more relaxed cruising ride and another longer more demanding ride. Yes any sled is welcome, women and young riders too!

I figured there was no problem with other brand sleds. My sons do have their snowmobile operator's permits so we're good there. I'm thinking I could put a sticker on their Doos that say "Aspiring Yamaha owner". Would be awesome to see a lot of Yamaha sleds together.
