op-lo after a tip over

Tipped over my phazer while boon docking and shut her off immediately. Put her back up level, let it settle and tried starting. OP-LO on screen and keeps flashing. Checked breather box before starting and no oil in breather box, checked oil level and at max line. Let sit for a while longer and still says OP-LO and will shut down after so long. tried unhooking the battery, didn't work. tried starting and shutting down a few times to see if she would stabilize herself and still nothing.

Any suggestion?
 

Usually waiting and starting it up gets the air out. There is a "oil check bolt" you can remove, hopefully that help get the oil moving.

So is it normal for a phazer to Flash OP LO at startup for a second and then go off and stay off?
 
You it is for the newer models with this message. It should go away not long after starting. The owners manual explains this.
 
I had the same problem this season. I could not get the light to go off. Turns out the oil pump lost its prime. The only way I could remedy the problem is pressurize the oil tank (with a small hand pump - just a few psi) while trying to start. It worked and no problem since.
 
had this happen on my apex let the wife ride it and she flipped it upside down oil pump lost prime tried ad tried to get it to go and was being towed to the local food stop when it finally caught and was okay. I think that bolt in the picture above may release the vapor lock but it is deep in there on an apex. I wonder if you dumped a little oil in the top of the motor if it would get to the pump and get it moving again or not. I think that is why the mountain guys spend good money on a roll over valve. I would like to know for sure and where the roll over valve is mounted and what it does. also if anyone knows for sure how to get the oil pump to re-prime I would love to know that trick too.

It is more common for the Viper/7000 to loose oil pump prime during a roll over, so I incorporate a re-prime switch on the Viper/7000 ROV kits.
Currently the Nytro/Phazer ROV kits do not have a re-prime function, as typically it isn't as common for a Phazer to loose prime. However if a Phazer owner is experiencing a loss of prime I could custom build a Nytro/Phazer kit with re-prime. Then you could re-prime the oil pump with a simple push of the button!
It would need to be a premium version though, as I use the ROVCM to regulate the oil tank pressure during re-prime.

Currently there is not a re-prime option for the Apex.
The Apex breather system differs from the rest of the 4 stroke line up. The ROV shut off valve is located between the crankcase and air box as shown in the pic at this link http://fourstrokesolutionsllc.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=196426464
With the valve in this location it's not possible to use it to pressurize the oil tank separately from the crankcase for re-priming purposes. (if that makes sense)

My phazer has lost prime twice after tipping over to the right side. Both times it re primed after I put the sled on level ground, then flipped it on its right side and let it back slowly then to the left side two or three times. A phazer wont leak oil out the air breather at 90 deg. ether way.
