Huge thanks to Sean at Curve Industries... Spent 35 minutes on the phone with me discussing options.
He's sending me the XS skis and 6" shapers... Very impressed with the customer service I've received from Curve industries so far. I expect the skis next Thursday and will be on a trail Friday night if everything goes as planned. I will update this post when I see the change in performance. I'll also try to get pictures of these skis next to my stock skis and along the install and first ride. Time to hook up the contour camera on the spindle!
Sean is guaranteeing the viper to be on rails.
Is it Thursday yet??
Thanks again Sean... Big thumbs up!

Make sure you follow their set-up for toe in/out.
It is by far the best alignment info that I have seen yet for this procedure.
Your going to love them.

They were unreal!!
Completely changed the sled.
Anyone that has one of these sleds should be required to buy a set of these skis. Hands down the best sled I have ever riden through the trail now!
Sean, you were completely right on the 6" shapers. This sled will turn on anything with your skis, Ice, loose groomed trails, beat up trails, hard packed... you name it.
Words can't express how well these ski work.
Don't hesitate to order these guys, they are awesome.... and look cool too!!

I've been running Curves on my Yami's since they started making skis. They are a good quality durable skis. I have a pair on my Viper right now just waiting to hit the snow....darn work & flu.
just over $500 with shipping, but the service was second to none and they offer a ski buy back program for your stock skis. So i am sending my stock skis back for some money back next week.

OK. I'm in. I've been on the fence but this thread sent me over. I just ordered a set.

Great ski,s you will love them!
i went with 6" shapers and it's crazy how hard it hooks in the turns. Glad I took sean's advise and rocked the 6" carbide and didn't go with the 7.5" shapers. That would have been major major overkill.
Posts like this are going to cost me money. Lol!! Thanks for the update
If you want to be certain you get no push when riging aggresive in a trail.. these skis are a must have. I have no fear coming in hot and holding the lower corner... after 50 miles of riding i knew it wasn't going to push or slide and the harder I rode, the more impressed I was.
It's been a long time since one single change made this big of a difference for me. I've been around motorsports, drag racing, road racing, inboard hydroplane racing, etc for nearly 25 years.

Sounds great.
What did the whole set up cost you?
What did you all get?
Ski and shapers both??? More info would be great.

I ordered the Curve XS system with the nicer hardware, NOT the trail system.
Black skis, black loops
Viper mounting hardware
6" shaper carbides.
I Did not buy anything but that. I didn't buy the anti dart items or the additional 70 dollar brackets for trail riding. Basically talked to Sean and let him spec the skis out for me since I am not a ski expert. I trusted what he was telling me and his info was spot on!. Nick at Curve was also a huge help with almost immediate service with tracking information when i called and assistance via text message on a few questions i had when i recieved the skis.
like I said, i am a very happy customer, and the fact they support this board is even better.
