Hats off to "Pat's Yamaha" of Greenland!!!!! I had a Mono Shock failure Tuesday of last week in Mass City. Pulled into Pat's Yamaha 3 miles down the trail at 4:45 pm. Kip, checked stock, but did not have a replacement at the store. He asked if I could leave it that night and come back in the morning and that they would pull a shock off of a new 07' Attak and install it into mine. 9:30 the next morning I was back on the trail. These guys are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Two other guys in my group also worked out a deal trading off a 07' F-800 for an Attak, and the other had a 05' RX1 and also traded for a 07' Attak that same morning. Bottom line they repaired my sled, and completed the other two transactions before 10:30. If you are ever in that area stop by and check them out! They also let me test ride a new Phazer.......Pat started it up and told me to take a ride and try it out..... it was a fun sled but not enough HP for me!

Yep....good people.
They were willing to canabilize a new 97 SX they had on the floor for me too though I was able to sledge hammer mine enough to get me through the week.

I think they are having a banner year at Pats. Thats where I traded my viper off at. They were letting us test ride anything we wanted, and letting any and all come in and warm up. Thats where we got the rx-1 running right, and the attack starting problem fixed. Great people, and i bet you get a TY note in a week or so. Paul

This is what will bring more people to Yamaha, great dealers who will go out of their way to help. As a business owner myself, I definately believe that the little "extras" sometimes mean more than the bug deals, and that getting great treatment adn personal service will get you much further.
Like the old addage - If you do something great ten times, you'll be remembered once. If you do one thing wrong, ten people will hear about it.
I think there should be a thread for people to tell all of their good experiences. We all know we are frustrated and angry with the bad experiences, so it should only be the good ones. I'm sure many of the dealers would appreciate getting a little pat on the back.

yes i was up at pats a week ago he was very friendly an helpful.a couple
of doo boys was asking me some questions outside about my attak
i am pretty sure i helped them make there mind up.they went back in
to trade.

:die :jump: :4STroke: :

It is great to have dealers like Pat. Besides all the good stuff you mentioned, he can tell one joke after another.

Chad his other son at their second dealer, M&M by the Ramada in Houghton is the best also.

We had some similar experiences there this year also. They are truly a great dealer who understands what it takes to keep people running and on the trail. I've asked local dealers in lower michigan to pull parts off a sled to get me going for the weekend, and they looked at me like i had rocks in my head!

My hats off to this dealer as well. ;)! They replaced my "delaminating center wheels" under warranty about 2 weeks ago when I was in the area. Nice people, friendly service and a good "trail stop."
:jump:

ABSOLUTELY

I just want to second everything posted here. We have a house in the UP and these guys are salt of the earth - ALWAYS willing to help out and do whatever they can - because bottom line is they GET IT. They understand the time and effort spent to get up there and the $$ invested, and they do what they can to help people enjoy that. They also keep the trails up in tose parts pristine. Great people, Great dealer.

There the BEST. Pat, Kip, Claudia and Trish, they just don't come any better. I have bought all my Yamaha's thru them except one, when Kip didn't have a Attak GT in stock one spring. Don't forget Kip's brother Chad up in Houghton at M+M. Good people that is for sure.

Pat is by far the best..

He fixed my sled this year for $15 and even gave me a 40th aniversary edition sled to ride over to get some dinner..

Wow that is awesome! Most dealers are so stuffy and wont let me sit on them in the showroom floor! I mean I pull up in my RX with about $5000 in extra sh** and they think I'm not good enough for thier left over apex.

I wish we had dealers like that I would support them for sure!
