So Im going to be doing some performance stuff to my Warrior and was just wondring what you guys think. Im going to be getting a 21 tooth top gear with stock 38 tooth lower, Ulmer Clutch kit, k&n's with red holtzmans springs, 162 studs down the center with my expert x skid.

Do you guys think this should be enough to keep up to an apex 0-100 and should i have good hook up?

All of this will just be for next season next summer I'll be putting a turbo on

:rocks:

It's all in getting that horsepower to the ground. I'm by no means saying that I've got the fastest Yami in my area but I've raced probably a dozen or more Apex,RTX,Attak etc... and have yet to lose. Some of them were set up pretty nice from what I could tell... Cobra tracks etc... Of all my mods the 136 T-cat skid is the difference maker. Ran a new Nytro last year on the lake that was studded to the max. Before we ran he told me that I would get him on top end but he would take me outa the hole. Claimed to have never lost a holeshot. I never saw him from start to finish. I LOVE being considered the underdog. Lots of fun!

Good to know pretty sure I will be getting that power to the ground with that expert x. From what I have read it has a ton of weight transfer.

Warriors do not come with a 40 tooth bottom gear stock, they come with a 38 from the factory. ;)!

lol i knew that not sure why i put 40 looking at to many gearing options latley I guess lol

I'm running 23 & 38 for gearing. I tried 23 before the skid swap and found that with the proaction even stretched to 136 it would blow out too much on take off. Went back to 23 again after the skid swap and was definately the way to go. You're gonna need all the traction you can get geared lower yet. The Expert X will hook as good as anything out there. ;)!

my warrior has 23/38 gearing stock and i know what you mean about it blowing out to much on take off it seemed like my sled would still be spinning at 60 mph lol I was unstudded too.

i hopeing I will be fine with the 21/38 gearing with studs and the expert X.

My dads attak very rarely spins out on take off with 162 studs and 23/38 gearing
