Hey everyone. Recently purchased a 2016 Phaser for my wife. So much easier for her to handle than the heavy two stroke she was using. This thing steers so easily.

I thought I read that the phaser XTX is geared different than the MTX. I would have preferred the XTX as she does a
Lot Of trail riding but there were none around at all. Lots of MTX’s. So I’ll throw a set of scratchers in it, and is it possible to swap out the gearing to an xtx gearing for increases too end speed? I think the MTX tops out at about 65 or 70 mph. If I could get this to 80 mph I would be happier. Not that she
Rides that fast but at 50 mph which is her
Normal speed the Rpms would be lower and she would have the ability to go faster on straightaways too if she wanted.
Any feedback or insight appreciated.

Mins.

it should be just a gear change. chain is the same as is the clutching between all the phazers from when i did my reasearch making the 09 rtx/x in my signature. the stock rtx gearing is the same as the mtx and it did get better gas milage/top end when i converted it to xtx gearing.
