Our new phazer intake and clutch kit will be available end of next week, we have finished testing this week both on the lake and on the trail. Kit is a combined kit consisting of air intake and clutch kit. The air intake kit alone will ramp up your rpms by 400 rpm so we developed the both the clutching and air intake to work togeather. You will see 3-5 MPH on top end, EXCELLENT BACK SHIFT, INCREASED THROTTLE RESPONSE, AND INCREASED PULL OUT OF THE HOLE. INCLUDES INTAKE KIT, HELIX, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SPRINGS, RIVETS AND A FEW OTHER GOODIES TO BRING THESE KITS TOGEATHER.
COST $499 (THIS IS A PACKAGE DEAL)

I put two slp flow-rites right on the lid to the airbox. I never rode it stock, so I dont' hae anything to compare it to though.

I tried the SLP intakes and I don't think it was any better. You really screw with the airbox pressure when you open it up that much. Wants to cough and die when you punch it from 0 throttle. I ended up covering my SLP holes with duct tape.

Why do you want to do a air box mod on your turbo sled?

Can you elaborate please? Was thinking of doing this mod myself. As its EFI, I wouldnt think it would be a big deal, and DynotechJim dynoed for 3 hp.
Anyone else experience this?
I looked at the air box myself and can see some room for improvement at the opening on the underside of the filter. The intake opening, it looks like it could benefit from some enlargement, flow wise.

I haven't experienced any problems with the addition of my flow rites. It hasn't studdered or hesitated on me ever. It seems to work really well.

I will be putting my Flowrites in tomorrow night. I'll update if I notice anything different.
I have dynoed sled with different mods. With airbox mod there is big benefit.

What about a couple of the small flow hole dealies used on dirt bike airboxes? Hey gabe, when you covered the holes it ran better?

Have you dynoed any other mods? Seen any gains with an exhaust?
How big of a gain did you see with the flowrites?
Also anyone know where we can purchase flowrites?
Thanks,
-Steve

Rfab, yes , it seemed to run better with the holes closed. If anything, I would try something smaller than the flow rites. With the flow rites, it seems to be too open right in front of the air horn. It wanted to cough and die when you punch it.
