Phazer engine reliability ?

Well, my buddy got 12,000 miles from his 700 crossfire and was still going strong when he sold it.
I hear ya. My buddy just sold his cat, 14000+ miles. Only 2 sets of rings in the last 7000 so he sold it. To him that's "not rebulding", to me, that is. Difference in opinions. I just want him to buy another sled so we can just ride!!

That makes total sense. A friend and I kinda put our foot down to a buddy of ours and his son. They where Arctic Cat boys and we told them we weren't going to ride with them any more due to their reliability issues (in other words we were tired of towing them) so now the father drives a doo 4 stroke and his son a Yamaha Attak. Now we just tell the youngest to keep it real. One trip and it got away on him. No injuries just a couple of bent A-arms and a cracked oil cooler. Hell learn just hopefully not the hard way.

Mine blew with ~700 miles on it, defective rod that had a casting flaw, ONLY phazer that the dealer sold that had an engine problem. Turbo guys have blew quite a few though with 10# of boost, the rods are pretty weak looking compared to Apex rods. I wish someone made aftermarket rods/Pistons for the Phazer as I would love to build ~140-150hp turbo motor that's dead stock reliable.
