Sold the phaze last week and bought a new sled this week. I got a 2007 arctic cat m8 162" mbrp can, black diamond drive, power commander 5. thanks for your help with my old phazer, but im not lookin back. IMO the m8 is a way better sled.

But don’t ya think comparing a Phazer to a modded M8 162" is kinda like being impressed that Godzilla beat up a Gecko? LOL!!
Anyway hope the snow gods are good where you live with that mountain machine!

I just came from an A/C Firecat F5 to a Phazer (I like it so far). 41 years old and yes I ride a 500cc sled, 86 mph is plenty fast for my style 
Have heard some bad things about that diamond drive set up but they all have issues sometime.
There's a forum similar to this called arcticchat, lotta good info & great people on there. My Wife still rides a 'Cat so I lurk around now and again.

I know a guy who just blew his dinmond dirve. All the gears a shreaed and stuff and yes there was oil.

He ditched the old diamond drive and put in a black diamond system. I guess thats good for up to 350hp and its got a warranty!

I know they do my buddy has a M-8 sno-pro but he can only ride it 1 month here. I he rides out of that time it over heats and all that.

Nope just the snow here falls on the ground and blows across the ground. Northern Iowa has more ground blizzard them inches of snow. The only place he can find in in the mouthiness or in the ditch. Then the snow packs up hard to.
My other friend has a ski-doo 1,000 blew the engine here because of over heating. We went trail riding the last week and could only keep up for half mile then had to drag behind because or over heating.
