I have a 2007 Phazer FX that turns very hard while riding. I have adjusted the limiter strap on the suspension and installed smaller carbides in hopes that it will turn easier but nothing has seemed to work. My next thought was to possibly switch the skis but I don't want to make that investment if going to have the same issues. Looking for a few ideas.

i found a 4" carbide on the inside and 2" on the outside worked well. I also kept the limiter strap in the stock position. Are you running with any studs ?

Try running the front springs at the minimum without bottoming out.

Wife is running a Phazer this year as well and is complaining of the steering. I'll watch here for some suggested changes.
Hard Steering can mean Physically hard to steer or when you turn its easy but the sled doesnt go the direction you turn. What is the condition?

Take a look at the pivot at front with the two arms on it. Those can go tight from corrosion. Ski type and carbides also make a big difference. Is quite a few post on steering and fixes here in FAQ sticky at top:

My 08 phazer did that. I found a used pair Yamaha tuners on craigslist and had 4" carbides all the way around. It fixed 90% of the hard steering i had. My dad an all bone stock 07 (except for his dooly carbides) and his steers like a dream.

Loosen skid strap one hole and or raise front end ride height 1/4" at a time by tightening front springs.
